Veritas Reduced Tuition Plan (RTP)

Veritas is committed to not turn away families who are unable to afford the full tuition. RTP has been established to support families who wish to provide their children with a Christian education but need financial assistance to do so.

Policy: RTP is need-based and is awarded yearly. A new application must be submitted every year. Families receiving RTP's must volunteer in the school and log their hours.

Procedure:

  1. Check with your church’s Christian education fund, and pursue other sources of assistance, such as grandparents who are often happy to contribute.
  2. Fill out an application and provide a copy of your most recent 1040 tax form and a brief explanation of your financial need.
  3. Participate in our RTP volunteer program (all family members and close friends may participate) and log hours. Your help as a volunteer reduces our school's expenses and makes tuition reduction possible going forward.

Contact Mrs. Mindy Sperline, the volunteer coordinator. She will discuss with families receiving RTP their volunteer hour goal (1-3 hours per week), and possible slots that need to be filled.

Examples of volunteer tasks: classroom moms or dads, assisting teachers, help with reading groups, recess coverage, landscaping, cleaning, PE or Music class, Art class, and building maintenance.
